The oil pump on my 72cc skoot failed so the rings welded themselves to the piston at 9000rpm from massive oil starvation - not to mention volcanic heat. Normally you'd just throw it away and get a new engine but I've got a spare set of rings so I'm going to sandpaper the surfaces a bit and give it another shot.
